Have you ever actually looked at the ingredient label on an electrolyte drink such as Gatorade or Powerade or another "healthy" sports drinks? It may surprise you... (I'll give you hint: the second ingredient is something you usually see offered for dessert!)
Whether it contains glucose, corn syrup, sucrose, or dextrose (all ingredients in various types of sports drinks -- even the low calories ones), it's still a form of sugar!
