Slow Cooker Carnitas [paleo]


Slow Cooker Carnitas.... Mmmm.  My mouth is watering as I type!  This recipe is definitely one of my go-tos.  Absolutely a favorite!  Plus, it's simple to make, healthy, and there is always leftovers -- how can you say "no" to that?  If you're looking for a "set and forget" recipe, then this is for you!

Slow Cooker Carnitas [paleo]

Servings: 12-16

Spray raw pork with Eat Cleaner Seafood + Poultry Wash and let sit for 2 minutes.  Rinse pork, pat dry, and place fat cap up in a large slow cooker.  Top with remaining ingredients.  Cook pork for 8 hours on low heat.  Once cooked, scrape fat cap off and remove pork from pan.  Place pork in a large dish and shred.  Drizzle about 1/4 cup or so of remaining juice from the slow cooker on top of the shredded pork (so it stays nice and tender).  Serve and enjoy!
