I'll admit...I've never really been a fan of guacamole, healthy guacamole or no. I always thought it was just a super creamy, yet bland substance that people would dip their chips or vegetables in. It wasn't until I made some carnitas that called for guacamole as a topping that I decided to give it another chance. That being said, if you are here looking for your typical guacamole recipe, then you may want to continue searching (aka there's no cilantro in here)... BUT, if you are here looking to spice things up a bit and try something a little different, this is the recipe for you! It may not look the most appetizing, but don't judge until you try it for yourself!
3-Ingredient Healthy Guacamole [paleo]
- 2 avocados, skin and seeds removed
- 1/8 cup organic salsa
- 1 Tbsp lime juice (fresh or bottles. Here's my favorite: Santa Cruz Lime Juice)
- Pinch of sea salt, if needed (I have really been enjoying my Real Salt lately. So many minerals in such a small package!)
Place your avocado in a small to medium-size bowl. Add in salsa, lime juice, and sea salt. Mix together and serve! Another super easy recipe...(: It may not look the most appetizing, but don't judge until you try it for yourself!
